This page explains how to remove data associated with Signal Empire. Because the Game is fully local-first with no backend servers, there is no centralized account on our side to delete. Instead, this page tells you exactly where your data lives and how to remove it.
Ging Productions does not run any servers and does not store your game data ourselves. Your local save lives only on your device, and any associated cloud data is held directly by Google services (Play Games, AdMob, Firebase).
Where Your Data Lives
| Where | What is stored | Controlled by |
|---|---|---|
| Your device | Local save: currency, towers, zones, research, managers, statistics | You |
| Google Play Games | Player ID, display name, leaderboard scores, achievements | |
| Google AdMob | Anonymous Google Advertising ID, ad interaction data | |
| Firebase | Anonymous crash reports and aggregate analytics events |
How to Delete Your Data
1. Local Game Data — uninstall the app
To remove your save file (currency balances, towers, zones, research, achievements progress, statistics), simply uninstall Signal Empire from your device. This permanently removes the Game and every piece of data it stored on your phone.
2. Google Play Games Data — via your Google account
Your Play Games leaderboard scores, achievement progress, and player profile are managed by Google. To delete or manage them:
- Open the Google Play Games app on your device.
- Tap your profile picture → Settings.
- Choose Delete Play Games account & data, or pick Signal Empire and tap Delete game data to remove only this game's data.
You can also review and manage this data at myactivity.google.com.
3. Advertising Data — via your device settings
To reset or opt out of personalized advertising served by Google AdMob:
- Open Settings on your device.
- Go to Google → Ads.
- Tap Reset advertising ID, or enable Opt out of Ads Personalization.
4. Firebase Crash & Analytics Data — request via email
If you would like us to forward a deletion request for any anonymous crash or analytics events tied to your device, send an email to ging.productions.support@gmail.com with:
- Subject:
Delete My Firebase Data — Signal Empire - Body: Your Google Advertising ID (find it under Settings → Google → Ads).
We will pass your request to Google's data-deletion process. Confirmation typically arrives within 30 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a "delete account" button inside the Game?
No, because there is no account. Signal Empire does not require you to register or log in to play. Sign-in to Google Play Games is optional and only used for leaderboards and achievements.
If I uninstall, can I get my progress back?
No. The save file is removed completely when you uninstall, and we do not keep a cloud backup. Reinstalling will start you fresh in a new village.
Will my Google Play Games achievements stay if I uninstall?
Yes. Google retains your Play Games achievements and leaderboard scores. If you reinstall and sign in again, your unlocked achievements will reappear. To remove them, follow Step 2 above.
